Meet the Doctors

Dr. Omolara Abitoye

Dr. Abitoye brings on board her years of experience as a physician dedicated to the care of children, adolescents and young adults. She is an American Board of Pediatrics certified pediatrician and also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She attended the college of medicine at the University of Lagos and interned at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in New York. Due to her personal interests in public health initiatives like child immunization and wellness she obtained a Masters of Public Health Degree from Harvard University.

She trained at the prestigious Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), which has been continuously ranked the best children’s hospital in the United States and remained with CHOP after her residency to work as a general pediatrician, serving the Princeton, New Jersey community for some years. She was also on the clinical faculty of the General Pediatrics Department of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

She and her family currently reside in North Texas. Dr. Abitoye hopes to apply her public health experience towards her primary care practice in order to achieve a healthier pediatric population in the Grand Prairie and Arlington communities and their environs. 

When not caring for kids in her office, Dr. Abitoye loves to spend time with her family. She also loves to traveling, swimming and watching movies.

Shelby Collymore, DO

Dr. Shelby Collymore was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Marshall, Texas. She is a graduate of Wiley College, where she received her Bachelor of Sciences degree. She received her medical degree from University of North Texas Health Science Center TCOM in Fort Worth, Tx and completed her Residency in Family Medicine at Medical City Arlington, in Arlington, TX. Dr. Collymore is board-certified in Family Medicine and has a particular interest in pediatrics, preventive health, and obesity medicine. As a DO, she is also specifically trained in osteopathic medicine, a hands-on treatment with many modalities. Dr. Collymore is known for her compassionate care, education, and dedication to helping patients and their families achieve their health goals. The cornerstone to the care she provides stems from the belief in treating the whole person and not the symptom(s). Outside of her professional life, Dr. Collymore enjoys going to church, reading a good book, and spending time with family and friends, which she believes helps to maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.
